Here’s a chart for Bohemian Rhapsody I I transcribed recently for a workshop- it’s more of a guide for a band to follow rather than an in depth transcription. Worth saying that it follows the structure of an SATB arrangement I came across rather than the actual track itself. Thought as I couldn’t find anything like it on t’internet I’d make it myself and share to the world to enjoy the glorious work of Queen!

CHRISTMAS ROUND-UP
It’s been a busy and very enjoyable festive season- it has been great fun to work with some fantastic musicians and artists on some interesting projects. Highlight gigs during the Autumn season have included- a performance at the sunny Bloomsbury Festival; several fun School of Life sermons; playing for London jazz singer Jo Wallfisch; playing for an unusual private company dinner on the Barbican theatre stage; and a gig playing with the artistic director of Jaeger-LeCoultre watches (on saxophone) at the Saatchi Gallery 2011 watch exhibition! On the writing side of things, I have been working on new material, together with some recording at Universal in late November, with the soul-jazz singer Joe Worricker. Other recording work includes playing for a new CD by singer Alison Beck, and other session work and string sessions at the Crypt in Crouch End.

MUSICAL TREASURE FIND #6
I hadn’t heard of Jeremy Lubbock until recently- how I was missing out. His discography pretty much covers the majority of noteworthy artists over the the last couple of decades of music. The below track (featuring Chaka Khan) is from an album of his own compositions and arrangements called ‘Awakening’.. unfortunately it’s out of print and difficult to get hold of, but definitely worth the effort in sourcing it.
